ORANGES ARE HEALTHY OR NOT?

WHAT IS ORANGES ?

A large round juicy citrus fruit with a tough bright reddish-yellow rind. Oranges are a very good source of vitamins, especially vitamin 'C'. Orange juice is an important part of many people's breakfast. Orange trees have dark green shiny leaves and small white flowers with five petals. There are many people of the world eat an orange or drink orange juice every day because it is cheapest source of Vitamin 'C'. Human being need vitamin 'C' to fight with infection and helps to grow. But they do not contain high amounts of minerals.
SIDE EFFECTS OF ORANGES :-
                              
• For pregnancy ladies Orange are not beneficial.
• Eating oranges is more beneficial than drinking juice of oranges
• Consuming more oranges is not benifical to kidney because it contains high potassium.
• Oranges can may cause diabetes because it contains high sugar levels.
• In children, taking large amounts of sweet orange peel is UNSAFE.
BENEFITS OF ORANGES :-

✓ Calcium rich Oranges help you maintain healthy bones and teeth.
✓ Flavonoids and polyphenols in Oranges help you fight viral infections.
✓ Vitamin C present in Oranges increases the production of white Blood Cells which further improves your immune system.
✓ Oranges help to control blood pressure effectively because it is having Hesperidin and magnesium.
✓ Oranges keep your heart healthy. An orange a day can give you healthy cardiovascular system.
✓ Antioxidants present in oranges fight free radicals and thus prevents aging faster.

PELLAGRA IS HARMFUL?

WHAT   IS PELLAGRA ? A Deficiency disease caused by a lack of nicotinic acid or its precursor tryptophan in the diet. Pellagra is characterized by skin lesions and by gastrointestinal and neurological disturbances; the so-called classical four DS of pellagra are  dermatitis, diarrhea, dementia, and death. There are two main types of pellagra, primary and secondary. Primary pellagra is due to a diet that does not contain enough niacin and tryptophan. Secondary pellagra is due to a poor ability to use the niacin within the diet.
